Is getting fitter and losing weight one of your priorities? Have you ever wanted flat abs? You have stumbled upon the right place if your answers were yes. We will look at several muscle building tips in the next few paragraphs. Towards the end, we will also recommend some programs that help you do the same.
Before we start, let me clarify one important thing: no program, no course and no technique is going to help you unless you help yourself. By nature, we believe that a single program is going to turn the tables and make us the Greek God that we want to be. The program can only teach us. Implementation and results are entirely determined by our own efforts.
Now, without any further delay, let's get going -
If you want to build muscles, you have to stick to the fundamentals. If you're chasing shiny secrets, good luck with that! You have to put in the work day in and day out to see results. If you come across some “secret” to build muscles, ignore it.
Diet is very important when you're trying to build muscles. Diet is far more important than your exercise. You aren't going to gain weight or build muscles if you keep exercising and lack a good meal plan. However, if your meal plan is good, you don’t have to do extreme exercising to gain muscles.
A good diet plan would be one that includes a good amount of protein every day. On an average, it is recommended to take 1 gm of protein per pound of your weight. It is also recommended to take protein after and before your training.
Another thing that is very important is resting. If you want to build muscles, you must give them the time to grow. Failing to rest would mean all your efforts go down the drain. In fact, it may lead to injury as well.
Last but not the least, set yourself sensible goals and start slow. Quite often, we start with a lot of enthusiasm and as we go, it dies down somewhere in between. Start slow, perhaps with high volume but low to medium intensity and grow as you go. Maintaining consistency is very important here.
It is also good to keep in mind that it will take time to build muscles. The bodies you see on the television or those that make you drool weren’t made overnight. They are a result of hours of consistent work that continues even today.
Another thing is, no matter how hard you try, it might not be possible for a few to get the body they want. You should hold your head high. Genetics also play a role in muscle building. Not too much but a little bit nonetheless. Even if you don't get the body of your dreams, the fitness you'll attain would be great for your life.
